EPS Pearls
EPS pearls are small balls of expanded polystyrene and are often used as insulation materials in construction. They have excellent insulating properties and are durable, resistant to moisture and mold. EPS beads are often used for cavity wall insulation, where they are blown into the cavity wall of a house to reduce heat loss and improve comfort. Knauf Supafil HR++
Installing Knauf Supafil HR++ mineral wool cavity wall insulation is a highly effective method of cavity wall insulation. This mineral wool is made from a minimum of 80% recycled glass. Partly because of this, this material is one of the most durable product in insulation materials. Supafil is treated with silicone, making it moisture resistant. Also, the product is incombustible and provides a guaranteed constant insulation value with no risk of sagging. On average the payback period in terms of investment and savings on heating costs is 3 to 4 years, with high gas prices this is a lot faster.
